DSE Consulting was established in 1994 to assist pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in characterizing and developing drug candidates into therapeutic products.  Dr. Duane Lakings, the DSE Consulting Principal, has over 30 years of experience in conducting and reporting results from drug discovery and development experiments and for the past 25 years has been involved in placing research studies with CROs.

DSE Consulting offers clients a variety of research services to assist in the characterization of discovery leads and drug candidates.  Research studies can be conducted either in the client's facilities or at an appropriately selected and monitored CRO.

DSE Consulting clients have included both pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology firms where assistance has been provided in designing experiments and evaluating results from studies on drug candidates, both novel chemical entities (NCE) and macromolecules, in various disease areas, including but not limited to,  CNS, oncology, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular, metabolic disorders, and dermatology.
